Excellence and Safety With 20 years of surgical experience, dual board certification, and a proven record of excellent results, I hold myself to the highest standards of precision, safety, and ethics. My goal is to give you both confidence in the process and peace of mind in the outcome. Natural, Lasting Results My goal is never to change who you are, but to enhance your natural beauty in a way that feels authentic to you and stands the test of time. Above all, I believe in building lasting relationships. I want you to leave my care not only with results you love, but also with the confidence of knowing you were treated with respect, honesty, and compassion.

How Do You Stay Current With Medical Advancements?

My practice is built on a foundation of maintaining active board certification in both of my specialties—a process that demands rigorous continuing education, standardized testing, and regular practice analysis. Beyond these requirements, I remain deeply engaged with the leading plastic surgical societies, participating in their educational meetings, seminars, and peer exchanges. Each year, I far exceed the Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for plastic surgery, often doubling or tripling what is required. This ensures that I stay ahead of the latest advances in surgical techniques, safety standards, and patient care innovations, bringing the very best of modern plastic surgery to my patients.

What Do You Enjoy Most About Your Work?

What I love most about being a plastic surgeon is helping people align their bodies with their own vision of how they want to look and feel. There’s something incredibly rewarding about supporting that personal transformation and confidence. Beyond that, I value being able to address focused problems that are troubling someone or may even threaten their health, and to rebuild both body and self-esteem when cancer has taken something away. I also treasure the relationships I’ve developed with long-term patients—guiding them through different stages and procedures as they reshape themselves over time. And there’s a part of the work that speaks directly to me: the technical challenge and creativity required to bring a patient’s vision to life. That unique blend of artistry, precision, and human connection is what makes this field so meaningful.

Why did you choose to practice in Lake Norman?

Straight answer: this is home. I met my wife when she was a teacher at Lake Norman Elementary. She’s from Raleigh and was living in Mooresville, and we spent a lot of time around Lake Norman and Charlotte even before we were married—it became our “second home” while we lived elsewhere. When we decided to move back to North Carolina to be closer to family, Lake Norman was the obvious choice. Practicing here isn’t just convenient; it’s intentional. We know the schools, the neighborhoods, the pace of life, and the people. My goal is to bring top-tier, safety-first plastic surgery to a community that means something to me personally—so patients don’t have to leave the area for the level of care they want. This is where we’re raising our family and building our future, and I’m committed to serving Lake Norman for the long haul.

What do you do outside of work?

Outside of work, I spend much of my time with my family, especially raising our middle-school-aged daughter. Staying active is important to me, and I enjoy working out and playing tennis. I also have a lifelong passion for cars, and being part of the Lake Norman community gives me plenty of opportunities to share that interest.
