This 37-year-old woman was diagnosed with breast cancer in her right breast and chose staged breast reconstruction. Her reconstruction was performed using implants—300 cc on the left and 275 cc on the right—to restore natural balance and symmetry.
As part of her surgery, she also had nipple neurotization, a technique that reconnects nerve pathways to help restore feeling after mastectomy. Over the months following surgery, she experienced excellent return of sensation and now has near-normal feeling, which she is absolutely thrilled about.
She is shown here after healing, with a soft, natural breast shape and symmetry that matches her goals and feels right for her body.
